Modern to Vintage: Experience the bold and punchy lows of the orange crush bass 50, a 50 Watt marvel that combines analogue circuitry with a ported cabinet for a powerful sound. Its versatile active EQ section, including a sweepable parametric mid band, gives bass players the freedom to sculpt their unique sound without limits. For added flexibility, the interactive Gain and Blend controls allow for the creation of rich, bi-amped-style tones, adding harmonics and varying levels of grit to the core bass tone. These can be activated remotely using the optional footswitch. Additional features include a buffered effects loop, an integrated tuner, an auxiliary input, and a headphone output with Cabsim circuitry.

Powerful Active Parametric EQ: Inspired by Orange's renowned 4 Stroke Series amplifiers, the EQ circuit of the orange crush bass 50 features a parametric mid band, offering a higher level of control over your sound compared to traditional EQs. The mid band ranges from 300Hz to 2.7kHz, making it adaptable to any musical style. The active circuitry provides up to 15dB of boost or cut on bass and middle frequencies, and up to 20dB on treble.

Blend & Gain: Taken from Orange's popular OB1 Series amps, the Blend and Gain controls cater to bass players who mix guitar and bass amps simultaneously. This bi-amped setup blends harmonic layers and distortion from the guitar amp with the bass tone for a full-range live sound. The Gain and Blend controls on the orange crush bass 50 replicate this effect in one convenient package, enhancing tone crispness at low gain settings and achieving intense distortion when cranked up. These controls can also be engaged remotely with the optional FS-1 footswitch, perfect for enhancing your tone on the go.

Analogue Design & Ported Cabinet: The all-analogue signal path of the crush bass series ensures a fat, rounded sound. The orange crush bass 50 is equipped with a 12" speaker and a reflex port for improved low-end response. Its buffered effects loop is designed for maximum transparency, ensuring your pedals operate at their best.

Cabsim Headphone Output, Aux Input & Chromatic Tuner: The headphone output features Cabsim circuitry, emulating the response of Orange's OBC bass speaker cabinets for silent practice. This signal can also be sent to a console for authentic direct recording. The auxiliary input allows for external audio sources to be connected for backing tracks, and the onboard tuner facilitates quick tune-ups between sessions.
