Topher Rodriguez has been passionate about music since his early teens, starting his journey as a jazz bassist before exploring a wide range of genres, including Latino, Heavy Metal, Indie, and Punk Rock. While still in high school, Topher balanced playing in multiple bands with working on summer music tours, setting the foundation for a dynamic career in music.

After high school, Topher honed his skills in guitar building and toured extensively as both a musician and a pro-level guitar technician. He worked with renowned bands such as Wolfmother, Cheap Trick, and Seether, developing a reputation for his sharp eye, ear, and dedication to excellence.

As an experienced luthier and multi-instrumentalist, Topher brings his expertise in live performance, music theory, and instrument repair to RiverCity Rock Star Academy. Since joining the team in 2018, he has been a key figure in the academy’s pro shop, providing high-quality instrument and repair services while mentoring aspiring musicians.
