This course opens the door for classically trained violinists to understand and enjoy the genre of Irish traditional music and in doing so, magically turn their classical violins into blazing Irish fiddles! We will also learn the basic differences between American Old Time, Bluegrass, Irish and Scottish music.
By the end of the course, you’ll have thoroughly experienced the uniqueness of the Irish fiddle style and have learned beautiful Irish tunes with which you can demonstrate your newly found fiddle prowess!
