Program Details
Ruckus is RiverCity’s punk-focused band program for students who want to play fast, loud, and with purpose. This class is open to musicians of all skill levels and emphasizes tight ensemble playing, confidence, and understanding punk as both a musical style and a cultural movement.
Students will participate in 10 immersive weeks of 2-hour band rehearsals led by experienced instructors who specialize in high-energy group performance. Each student is also enrolled in a weekly 30-minute private lesson on their chosen instrument.
Throughout the season, students will rehearse, analyze, and perform punk and punk-adjacent music while developing core skills such as rhythm, song structure, tone, stage presence, and collaboration. The program culminates in a midseason preview show and an end-of-season live concert for family and friends.
This program is ideal for students who want a creative outlet that values individuality, intensity, and teamwork while building real musical discipline
Participants will enjoy:
- 10 weekly 2-hour band practice sessions with seasoned instructors, aimed at enhancing both musicality and stage presence.
- A weekly 30-minute one-on-one lesson on your chosen instrument: guitar, drums, bass, piano, or vocals.
- Opportunities to perform in the final concert on June 21st.

If you are unable to pay the full balance before the season begins, a $50.00 deposit is required to hold your spot. Our billing team can send you an invoice for the deposit and this would be deducted from the first payment of your billing. Cash and Check payments can also be accepted. Just give us a call or send an email if you'd like to set this up.
Camps/Workshops
Camps and Workshops will be paid in full upon online registration. If you'd like to hold your spot in a camp or workshop and cannot pay the full balance, we can invoice you for a $50.00 deposit that will be deducted from your balance, which will be due before the camp or workshop begins. For Summer Camps, before and after care is available, which is billed at an hourly rate. This time will be billed separately and we can send you an invoice based on your family's needs. Please send an email or give us a call and we can offer more details about this option.
