PERFORMANCE GROUP DETAILS
The Royals Performance Group is an advanced, audition-only program for RiverCity students ages 14–20. Members perform at RiverCity events and external gigs and are expected to learn material quickly and maintain strong preparation and attendance.
Students of the Royals group have many opportunities to perform at community and private events, in addition to their performance showcases for family and friends. This program is designed to give students the experience of a real working band and further excel their confidence and passion for music.
The Royals performance group is an ongoing program, with a minimum commitment of 6 months. Students in the Royals performance group will meet for weekly rehearsals (and agreed-upon additional rehearsals, as necessary).
Royals Spring Auditions
Royals auditions for the upcoming season will take place on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 PM.
Audition Song: Jet – Are You Gonna Be My Girl
Students should prepare the song on their primary instrument (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, or keys). Auditions will be performed live with RiverCity instructors.
Returning Royals: Strong returning members will complete a video performance review of the audition song instead of attending the live audition. Some students may be asked to re-audition if needed.
