RiverCity Open Mic Night 2026
Experience the thrill of performing at RiverCity Rock Star Academy’s Garage Stage! Our Open Mic Night normally takes place on the last Friday of every month, with December being an exception. For the December Open Mic, we’ll be hosting it on Friday, December 19th from 7:00–9:00 PM.
This is your chance to take the stage, share your music, and be part of Salem’s vibrant music scene. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, taking the stage for the first time, or simply coming to enjoy the music, everyone is welcome.
Open Mic Schedule:
7:00–8:00 PM — Solo Performers & Duos
The first hour is designated for individual performers and two-person acts.
8:00–9:00 PM — Bands & Groups
The second hour is reserved for full bands and other group performances.
To help make sure everyone gets an opportunity to perform, each act will initially be allotted up to 2 songs or 10 minutes, whichever comes first. Once everyone on the sign-up list has had a turn, performers may have an opportunity to play again if time permits.
The Last Friday Open Mic Night is free and open to all ages. Bring your friends, family, and neighbors and enjoy an evening in a welcoming, music-filled atmosphere. It’s a great way to support local musicians and share the joy of music with the Salem community.
RiverCity Rock Star Academy’s Garage Stage provides a professional yet intimate all-ages setting for musicians to perform in front of a supportive audience. Whether you’re performing or cheering from the crowd, it’s a great way to end the year on a high note.
Arrive early to secure your spot on the sign-up list, and get ready for an evening of live music, expression, and community!
